I’m very excited to announce that The Essential Web Design Handbook is finally available for purchase!
As I mentioned in one of my previous blog posts, it’s been quite a while since I’ve started working on it. I was very close to giving up but I’ve been receiving so many design questions from you that I finally decided to finish up the ebook. And I’m very glad I did it because I can finally share my complete design process with all the details I always wanted.
This ebook is just the beginning of what I’m planning for you this year. Writing the ebook took a lot of my time but now that it’s done, I want to focus more on creating free content.
My long term goal is to provide much more value than just what you can learn from this ebook. I want to constantly teach what I learn and translate that into a form of easy to understand courses, tutorials, and even more ebooks.
New Designers Area
Make sure to check out the new Designers Area because I have some gifts for you! You can download a free 25 page ebook sample and a vector file with my hand-drawn icons I used to create illustrations in the ebook.
If you’re not registered yet, click here to subscribe to my email newsletter and get free access.
I hope you’ll enjoy it and I’m looking forward to hearing your feedback!

Hi Sir,
While going through the book a question raised in my mind about brainstorming and getting idea .According to the book, before brainstorming we have completed our project plan. Now in brainstorming what point should be discussed . If you will explain this point with project which is in book will be very helpful to understand.
I have some other question also regarding chapter 3 which i will ask later.
Thanks
Siddharth

Going through your handbook today trying to find a good way to work with 2X for retina display. You recommend a PSD start size of 2280 pixels wide. If your design is 2X, how do you output it to show clients or in a web browser at actual size?
